Available Regions

You will awarded your own dedicated area or region

The group is made up of licensed agents and associated agents, each agent covers a particular area or region depending on what back office support or experience they may have (if any). Usually new agents that are unskilled will be allocated an "Area" and often experienced agents will be allocated an area or region.

An Area is depicted as a large city or group of towns (county) where as a region could be made up of several conunties.

When an area or region has been allocated, no other agents can fulfill this position, one agent per area or region is allowed only, as not to compete with each other under the same organisation and gives each agent a fair working environment in which to grow their agency without direct competition.

A region is more likely to be awarded to an agent if they are familiar with that area, have previous experience in the industry or have been resident in the locality for some considerable time.

Regional Managers
Regions are also allocated to exisiting, experienced agencies who choose to become associates of SIG, they will be nominated as "Regional Managers" offering mentoring to new established agencies as well as providing a service in association with SIG.

When making contact with us for the first time it is important that you state you desired area/region as early as possible.

What if I get work outside my region?

From time to time you may get enquiries that fall outside of your immediate area. When this is the case you will be offered a couple of choices.

A) If there is no allocated agent to cover this on your behalf the enquiry will be dealt with via SIG and an independant agent will be allocated (one that has the appropriate skill and credentials or one that has been used and produced professional results in the past) You will then be awarded a commission or percentage of the work undertaken.

B) If there is already an agent allocated for this area, it is up to you and that agent how you manage it. you may split the fee as you would with any other independant Agent to Agent assignment.

More details on this are provided in full within the agents manual

How do I become a Regional Manager?

Regional Managers will more often than not be appointed where an agency is already in existence and trading, who also have the the minimum criteria to operate as an associate of SIG due to their experience, skills and knowledge that is valuable to the group.

They will support and mentor new agencies within their region or surrounding regions/areas.

New agents can be promoted to Regional Managers upon successfully demonstrating they have the credentials to represent the region at this caliber.

Regional Managers will be responsible for Key Performance Indicators and also ensuring Service level Agreements are adhered to. In return SIG offer preferential rates and commissions along with enhanced marketing campaigns for their area/region in order to create more enquiries and assignments
