Professional Standards

PIUK's main aim is to promote professional standards within a network of professional investigators.

PIUK recognises that there are a number of organisations out there that charge a premium fee for to become a member and have the privilege of displaying their logo on stationary and websites etc. But what else do they offer? It has more recently become a popular topic amongst investigators on forums and discussion groups as to what you are really getting for your money, in most cases the cost exceeds £130.00 per annum up to as much as £200.00 plus. This is a lot of money in today's environment to pay, so what if you could get a similar service and support for a fraction of the cost.

We're not saying don't join them, in fact some offer very useful resources and features, however, justifying the cost of membership to these organisations has and may well remain a topically subject.

PIUK aims to promote professional standards, ethics and mutual consistency between members, allowing each member to seek the advice and assistance of another, knowing that they abide by the same standards and work ethics, by this, we mean examples such as payment efficiency, administrative tasks such as report writing and affidavit drafting. By having a consistent level of professional standards we can rely on each other and feel assured that the assignment will be well executed in line with our professional expectations and standards.
