Why join PIUK?
PIUK aims to provide it's members with resources and information that will assist them in providing professional services.
PIUK is unlike any other organisation, of course we have a directory for members and some useful links on our site but the main objective right from the outset has always been focusing on professional standards and ensuring each and every member of PIUK abides by a strict set of rules and conduct. PIUK also offers to resolve issues raised between members and will also go so far as assisting (where possible) with any issues you have with non-members of the organisation and clients, for example; when receipt of your payment is not met within an acceptable time frame.
The orgainsation is non-profit run, the idea is that there is no financial gain to be had, we simply cover the running costs by charging members a small contributory annual fee. The members are the organisation, and a certain select few have agreed to act as managers, support staff and experts offering advice and guidance as well as much needed support. Although we don't encourage exhaustive problematic issues to be put forward to PIUK, as we all have our own interests and businesses to deal with but we are here to listen and do our best to offer a solution when all else fails. We will never neglect or turn away someone in need or someone who wants to be heard.
